| The Presidential and Troops units make a final approach into West Colton yard after leading across the rainy California desert. The pair were both trailing until Yuma, where the power was wyed. Word quickly spread around, and by the time the train reached Beaumont, dozens of railfans had gathered along the tracks to the see the presidential unit. |
