| The locals between Fort Dodge at Waterloo were daylight trains when I started for the CN back in 2004. Normally 2 jobs would go to work in the morning then meet and swap trains somewhere around the Webster City-Williams area. Here the local works back to Fort Dodge just west of Duncombe in a snowy December 2005. The black IC SD40's were pretty common power for western Iowa in early 2000's. Duncombe is located 10 miles east of Fort Dodge. |
