| Iowa Northern heads north with an empty potash train out of Waterloo. Since the UP run thru power was facing the wrong direction on the loaded side, the IANR helped out with one of their units today. This train is currently using trackage rights over the CN Waterloo Sub between West Waterloo and Cedar Falls to get back to their Manly Sub. The train has just crossed the Cedar River here in Cedar Falls and is about 1/2 mile from home track. IANR moves these potash trains for the UP between Manly and Waterloo. A move that happens about once a month or so. |
