This scene could easily be mistaken for one of GM&O's smaller outlying facilities across Mississippi and Louisiana, but - in spite of the black and white geeps - this is the former IC yard in Monroe. These days, this line serves KCS as the mainline shortcut between NS in Alabama and BNSF in Texas.
