Portland Terminal Company, once jointly owned by the Maine Central and the Boston & Maine, later a subsidiary of the Maine Central, served the local industries in Portland, South Portland, and Westbrook, Maine. Other than two short-lived road switchers, PTM’s roster was entirely composed of Alco switchers, of models HH600, S1, S2, S3, and S4.
