| Out for a test drive. Utah Railway is trying out MK's 5000 hp Caterpillar power plants in the model called a MK5000C. After being tried out and rejected by UP, SP, and BCR. MPI/MK finally found a customer in Utah Railway. They were generally a failure, until they were converted to EMD 645 power plants. |
