Amtrak's southbound Carolinian service to Charlotte slows for its station stop in Fredericksburg, crossing the Rappahannock River just before the station. Thursday's rain storm caused some tremendous flooding, and while the river has receded since then, the water is still running very high at the time of this photo. This location would've been inaccessible during the previous days, as the water reached midway up into the parking lot.
