| The Iowa River Railroad has just setout their inbound cars for the CN to the north end of the interchange tracks and now will head to the other end for a pickup. This crew doesn't take long to get their work done most days. Just like today the crew was done by 11am. They go to work at the ethanol plant by Cleves and make an Ackley Turn to do interchange work with the CN I believe mainly Monday thru Friday. This is an old M&St.L mainline that has around 9 miles left that is run by the Iowa River Railroad who main customer is the Pine Lake Ethanol Plant. Mother Nature blessed us with an April snow storm overnight. |
