| Flirt RABe 524 # 109 of SBB daughter TILO is running the Regio Express 4319 from Erstfeld over the Gotthard mountain line to Bellinzona through the "staircase" of the Biaschina between Lavorgo and Giornico. On the uppermost level is the Pianotondo viaduct, followed by the two spiral tunnels Pianotondo and Travi. The impressive Biaschina viaduct of the motorway A2 is 100 meter high, 645 meter long with a main span of 160 meter and was built from 1979 to 1983. |
