| "Airtrain at the TWA Hotel"
A Jamaica Station bound Airtrain passes the new TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens, NY. Opened on May 15th 2019 (just a day shy of this photo), the TWA Hotel is a revival of Eero Saarinen’s iconic 1962 TWA Flight Center which has been closed in 2001. The hotel features 512 rooms and several amenities, the most prominent being a Lockheed Constellation "Connie" L-1649A which was transported from Maine & transformed into a cocktail lounge. |
