An eastbound BNSF Railway intermodal train bisects the intersection of Rosecrans and Marquardt in Santa Fe Springs, California. This is a busy grade crossing, as in the short time I was there on the morning of November 10, 2017, I photographed trains at 8:18 (Metrolink w/b), 8:19 (BNSF e/b), 8:32 (BNSF w/b), 8:35 (Metrolink e/b), 8:38 (Amtrak w/b), 8:42 (BNSF w/b), 8:58 (Metrolink w/b), 9:06 (Amtrak e/b), 9:15 (BNSF e/b), 9:26 (BNSF w/b) and 9:30 (this eastbound BNSF train). That's eleven trains in less than an hour!
