Passing through Placentia, California, is BNSF Railway train Q-AUGLAC6-07, a Guaranteed Service Intermodal train heading west from Austell GA to Los Angeles, about 24 miles ahead. This train is 9,168 feet long and weighs 7,718 tons, with BNSF 7242 and 7077 up front, and BNSF 4396, NS 9747 and NS 1145 as the rear Distributed Power Units (DPU) on the rear. It may be a good thing that there are no grades of any consequence left, as five-year-old Norfolk Southern SD70ACe 1145 has quit working. (August 12, 2019)
