| The Last Daylight Run - The final daylight run of the BM&LP leaves the plant for the Kayenta coal mine, which has ceased all mining operations. The train will run back out one more time at night under the cover of darkness to completely empty the silo of all remaining coal. The rails are now cold today, and disablement of the line is slated to begin sometime next week. Another railroad of the American West, now in the history books. |
