| The Gettysburg and Northern daily local, which runs north to the interchange with NS in Mt. Holly Springs before returning south to Gettysburg, creeps along through the gentle PA countryside. The golden grass has begun to overtake the rails of this ex. Reading branch line in several places, and the state of the tracks have restricted the Gettysburg and Northern to a 10 MPH speed limit. The train here almost feels still and lifeless in the meadow-like grasses. |
