| I was completely shocked to see 2 cowl units leading the daily Kirk Yard to Waterloo manifest train. With more PTC becoming in service across CN there is a push for PTC leaders to be on trains as much as possible. Most if not all the cowls units have not received PTC software, so as time goes on it will probably be harder to get a cowl leaders on scheduled trains. Lucky for me also the train is running about 12 hours late making a normal night time run into a nice afternoon treat for me. Here the train accelerates out of Independence, 22 miles from the destination at Waterloo. |
