| Family vacation up to my in-law's trailer near Harpers Ferry this week allowed for some interesting shooting locations. Unfortunately I didn't make the most out of it cause the timing of trains didn't work out well. Did get an unique shot or 2 from the boat. Here the Northtown Yard to Belt Railway Yard in Chicago freight rumbles along the Mississippi River north of Lock and Dam # 9. We were floating just south of the dam so I was able to shoot thru it. High water still has all the rollers up at the damn letting as much water thru as possible. The river is still up around 6 feet higher than normal. |
