The locks are closed in the background at TVA’s Chickamauga Dam, the Tennessee River is just low enough to do some late evening Labor Day fishing. Northbound NS 282 (Jacksonville,FL-Chicago,IL) is creeping across the Tennessee River on the CNOTP South-End. NS 282 will stop short of Hamill Road to meet NS 229 instead of stopping at the Hixson control-point. This move only happens when trains extend the length to a point blocking that crossing. Once the meet is completed, CT-Dispatcher will notified NS 282 to proceed north out of the terminal, and the pig train will continue it’s run to Burnside, KY.
