| After wying the train at Swift Interlocking and shoving back to Tower A, the Pan AM crew prepares to yard their train. The train will be tied down overnight at Boston Engine Terminal in preparation for a morning trip from Boston North Station to Freeport, Maine. The train will be wyed in Brunswick and return to Portland. Several landmarks can be seen in the background including Boston Sand & Gravel, the Zakim Bridge and the Boston Garden. This area was once busy with Boston & Maine traffic and is home to a fair amount of railroad history. |
