Just over 51 years ago nicely turned out RENFE oil-fired 4-8-0 No 240F2273 approaches Salamanca on the now closed line from Zamora with the 06.30 Astorga to Salamanca train omnibus. The handsome Mastoden was built in 1922 by Maquinista for the Madrid, Zaragoza & Alicante Railway. Photo by the late M.J. Fox.
