Out to the interchange! The former New York Central “Babbling Brook” and former Northern Pacific Railway 549 (dome/coach) will be leaving from New Orleans on train 58 (City of New Orleans) Saturday, October 5, 2019 (arriving Chicago Sunday, October 6, 2019), pictured here on the afternoon of Friday, October 4, 2019 being shoved by a trio of KCS belles. The cars are headed to NOUPT to be added to the Illinois Central train that Arlo Gutherie helped stay famous.
