| Kern Jct. Sunset. Running over four hours late following the delay of a Metrolink trespasser strike down south in the San Fernando Valley, Amtrak's detouring Coast Starlight No. 14 has to wait a little longer at Kern Junction as the UP Mojave Subdivision dispatcher waits for a southbound intermodal to finish it's crew change before allowing the Starlight to pull up. This photographer certainly didn't mind the added wait time as the lighting only got better! |
