A photo, nor video, can truly capture the experience of what it's like to stand next to an active 4000 class steam locomotive. Brief moments like this, however, where wisps of steam and the glint of golden hour sunlight across the length of restored UP 4014 certainly get close though. If you have a chance to see this locomotive as it is out touring the country - I can not highly recommend it enough.
