| From the Rockies to the Deep South. The nose headlight is a dead giveaway that this SD40-2 is not your typical Norfolk Southern unit. This former Colorado & Southern unit was built in 1979 and was acquired by Norfolk Southern from Helm Leasing. This unit was painted in Cascade Green and wore the BNSF Heritage I scheme before going black & white sometime in 2014. |
