    Remarks & Notes
At the end of the section of the Donauuferbahn still active for passenger (and occasional freight) service, Sarmingstein sees only a bunch of trains per day, almost all in dark hours. Siemens Desiro 5022 006 has just reversed and waits as the second, early morning train of the day to Linz.

Nocturnal Nuances: Sunset To Sunrise & All Through The Night!

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
