Not sure why but the Heart of Georgia decided to run their SAM Shortline excursion train with the locomotive running long hood forward. The train is getting ready to run a rare mileage trip during the Second Annual Cordele Railfan Festival. The train will be running east from the SAM Shortline depot for a 30 minute shuttle run toward their Cordele yard.
