Here is an example of CTC on a branchline. After taking cars to Port of Tillamook Bay, the eastbound Clackamas Switcher passes the end of CTC on the Tillamook Branch at Greton. From here west to St. Marys, Burlington Northern trains ran on SP. To expedite rail traffic through the urban areas, CTC was installed between Greton and St. Marys.
