    California Western #56 is a rare Baldwin RS12. Last I knew, this unit was serviceable and even gets used on occasion when they need to move something large around the museum yard. That being said, I think it's been in this spot for quite a few years so that may be old information. Travel Town received this unit decades ago in trade for some Hawaiian steam locomotives that were returned to the Islands.
