As detour trains for Pan Am Southern settle in on the Vermont Rail System, a daylight morning PAS 11R detour, East Deerfield, MA to Binghamton, NY, departs Rutland after the locomotives swapped end for the run south to Hoosick Junction, NY from Rutland, VT. The train is led by VTR GP40-2 307, MEC 5967, 5948 and 5966 as it passes the Vermont Rail System offices and the Irving distribution in downtown Rutland.
