Approaching the Fullerton station is Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 1566 (weekend/holiday service from Los Angeles to San Diego) on New Year's Day 2020. CDTX SC-44 2109, one of two in Surfliner service without a blue "spoiler" on the rear, leads this eight-car train, with CDTX SC-44 2117 on the rear. (Fullerton, California – January 1, 2020)
