| During February this year the morning Crescent (#20) is typically 2-3 hours late. While annoying for passengers this is convenient for taking photos as it now typically hits the UVA area with the best sun per the shadows. This train is about to pass by the UVA hospital then arrive at the Charlottesville Amtrak Station. The UVA hospital is situated between the former C&O and SOU mainlines and still has coal delivered to it by the Buckingham Branch. |
