                Remarks & Notes
Western Pacific's "Ford Fast" train is headed west fast at Marblehead, Utah. This train of auto parts and new autos was delivered to the WP in Salt Lake City by the D&RGW. The D&RGW received it in Pueblo, Colorado from the Missouri Pacific which had brought it west from Kansas City. According to ex. WP employees, this train was the hottest train on the WP; hotter than even the Zephyr. It was allowed 24 hours and 5 minutes from Salt Lake City to Milpitas, CA. Scanned from a color print
