| An ex-SAL depot along ex-ACL tracks? Amtrak P40DC 815 pulls a backwards AutoTrain past the former SAL depot at Auburndale. In 2000 the ex-SAL depot was moved here along the ex-ACL's A-Line from it's original location about a mile west. The AutoTrain is being rerouted due to a derailment the other day in Deland, FL. Amtrak 815, with help from 837 and 814 on the other end brought P052 south from Sanford to Auburndale and down the Auburndale Sub. From there the 815 was cut off and they then pulled forward via the Mcdonald Connection towards Lakeland before turning north on the Vitis Sub. |
