| Back to the simpler times of almost a month ago, an Acela Express thunders through Princeton Junction on its way to Washington. In the month since, Amtrak has shelved these units and dramatically scaled back its schedule because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even on this day, demand was already much lower due to fears and rapid spread of the virus. Things have moved very quickly in the weeks since then. |
