| A Vermont Rail System extra moves 2 former Iowa Pacific E8's headed for storage on the Batten Kill RR. The engines are now owned by creditors and are for sale. They are former PRR units that were owned by the CNY Chapter NRHS. For years they were on display at the NYS Fair Grounds in Syracuse before being traded/sold to the Iowa Pacific several years ago. The engines resided on the SNC property in North Creek for years before moving to Corinth after SNC shutdown. They were recently moved to Whitehall and then onto the BKRR via Rutland on this move. Former PRR 5702 and 5761. |
