| Heading into the soon to be closed tunnel. EXO 1208 is passing what was once the site of the Canora Station and is about to head into the Mount Royal tunnel. Work on the REM light rail project has necessitated the closure of the existing Canora and Mont-Royal stations, with a new one located roughly halfway between the two stations. This part of the Deux-Montagnes line (including the tunnel) was supposed to be closed for a number of years starting March 29th, but all work on the REM project has stopped for the time being and trains are still running here. This line was double-tracked until the summer of 2018, but is now down to single track. |
