| Two Re 6/6 (nowadays designated Re 620) of the SBB in multiple control are pulling a southbound intermodal train up the Gotthard north ramp, just leaving Gurtnellen. The large buildings are the Schmelzmetall company, founded in 1959, but most of the buildings date from the end of the 19th century, when calcium carbide was produced here. |
