| Luckily for me, the rear of 172-18 has just cleared as 173-19 throttles up for the short but steep 1.00% climb out of Peachtree Creek. Anecdotally, the Conrail SD50's seemed to lead a lot of trains in the non-cab signaled Southeast as they ran out their last miles on NS. Surprising to me, the 5424 operated another 16 months before it's SD40E conversion at Atloona. |
