Morrison-Knudsen rebuilt several locomotives with Swiss Sulzer prime movers in the late 1970’s, sending out demonstrators to attract potential buyers. One was this rebuild of former UP GP9 278. Now classified as TE50-4S 5001, the demo, which would later become Morristown & Erie 22, is seen on the Bangor $ Aroostook at Northern Maine Junction, Maine.
