On a perfect June 24, 2016, Montana Limestone Company’s Jim Beard remotely operates the company’s colorful pair of EMD SD50Fs as they pull an empty cut of hoppers under the limestone loader at Warren, Montana. These former Canadian National cowl units operate on a private railroad of two spurs and 18,000 feet of trackage along BNSF’s Casper Subdivision.
