BNSF Railway Guaranteed Service Intermodal train Q-AUGLAC6-03L passes milepost 43 on the BNSF’s San Bernardino Sub. A pair of Norfolk Southern Dash 9-44CWs, 9428 and 9932, have come all the way from Austell, Georgia, where this train originated. The train is braking here, as it will have to wait for a bit as Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 785 is due into Fullerton, and must cross over the mainline that the intermodal train is on to make its station stop. But the Q-AUGLAC is only about 25 miles from Los Angeles, its final destination. (Placentia, California – June 7, 2020)
