Short Westbound Manifest: While 33K could be monstrous in size, in its final years, it could fairly often be seen with few cars or no cars. In this photo, it is heading west out of Newark with 4 boxcars on Conrail's Lehigh Line. The trailing unit is NS 7569 (ES44DC). The leader, NS 7320 (former SD90MAC UP 8200), was stored and put up for sale in mid-2020 despite being rebuilt fairly recently in April of 2016. In February of 2021, it was sold to Progress Rail.
