Remarks & Notes

A Hitachi set runs through Sandown Park heading towards Dandenong. The extra wide overhead gantries here are evidence of former sidings which were used to stable special trains on race days at the nearby race track. Hitachi trains have since been withdrawn from service and an ugly fence has been built at this location.
