A venerable GE leads the 5 day-a-week manifest from Knoxville, TN to Asheville, NC. This view, about a mile east of Hot Springs NC, catches the train headed upriver past Frank Bell's Rapids, which is normally only seen by rafters and train crews because of the remote location.
