| July 4th fireworks provided by Mother Nature stirs up the tranquility at Barr Lake. A stalled severe warned thunderstorm complex rages on near Aurora, CO providing a dramatic backdrop to an absolutely glass smooth passage of a westbound manifest. The green color in this cell denotes it’s high tops and hail and rapidly developing intensity. To the immediate east a clearing with even some blue sky; just enough for the reflected white light off the towering cumulonimbus clouds filters down on the entire area. |
