| After making a run from Ayer, Ma and letting off it's passengers at the east end of Mechanicville, the Pan Am OCS is seen departing the yard at Mechanicville to head for the wye to turn the train to position it for the return east the next morning. In the background is the joint Pan Am Norfolk Southern intermodal and auto facilities. Previously this was the site of a large yard serving both the D&H and B&M. It was abandoned in the 1980's and rebuilt into this facility around 2010. |
