| Ge 4/4 II # 623 "Bonaduz" in the Glacier Express paint scheme is pulling the Regio Express 1240 from Scuol-Tarasp via Vereina-Klosters to Landquart, and further on as RE 1749 to Chur-Ilanz-Disentis/Mustér over the 61 meter long Isla Bella bridge, crossing the Vorderrhein between Trin and Versam-Safien. The truss bridge dates from 1902, when the line was built. The line was opened on june 1st 1903 from Reichenau-Tamins to Ilanz. A hiking path from Versam-Safien station goes over the bridge towards Trin/Flims. |
