Canadian Pacific's new ACu's are certainly nothing new anymore, but up until this 381 grain empty, I had not seen photographed one, let alone two special paints. The 7021 and 7017 are in charge of grain empties for elevators north of here near Thief River falls.
By the time they got going north out of Glenwood, the midday clouds had passed, and they're bathed in some nice evening light.
