| In front of the Palü glacier, the east peak of Piz Palü (3882 meter a.s.l.), Piz Caral (3420 meter a.s.l.) and Sassal Mason restaurant (sadly closed this season), the "Two Yellows" railcars ABe 4/4 # 34 and # 30 of the Rhaetian Railway are running as "Erlebniszug Alp Grüm" (Alp Grüm adventure train) EXT 2623 from Pontresina via the Bernina pass to Alp Grüm. The railcars were built in 1908/1911 by SIG and Alioth for the then independent Bernina Railway and were rebuilt several times since then. |
