| With the virus affecting business this spring, CN had really cut back on people and service days thru out Iowa. The west end had been pretty much went to 3 days a week service including the jobs on the Omaha Sub. The 572 and 573 were running on Tues/Thur/Sat in which they meet at Dension in the afternoons and swap trains. With the cuts the job now have 2 units instead of the normal 1. The job out of the Bluffs is sporting 2 SD60's which was my main reason to visit western Iowa again. Here 573 heads back to the Bluffs with 15 cars as they pass by scenic Woodbine around 35 miles from Council Bluffs. |
