| "Electric Rail Train at Penn"
Amtrak KN704 pulls into New York Penn Station with 2 Siemens ACS-64s towing an empty 31-car welded rail train. The train is heading to Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven, CT where it will be interchanged for loading. Work trains that require travel between Hudson Yard and New Haven are usually towed with electric locomotives to comply with the "strict" requirements inside of Penn Station. |
